Golden Grooves Street Collective

Golden Grooves Street Collective play joyous street music for sunny days, outdoor fun and dancing! A vibrant 9-piece playing trumpets, trombones, sax, sousaphone and street drums, they emerged out of Oi Musica's Brass Blast project in Edinburgh, where street band music and youth creativity collide. The band includes Brass Blast alumni, young tutors and emerging musicians - bringing their own take on New Orleans, carnival and sing-along classics to street and stages across the UK.

Golden Grooves provide workshops and learning opportunities for players of all ages and abilities - including their successful Band in a Day project, piloted at Bradford City of Culture 2025 and heading to UK festivals this summer.
